Homemade Pizza Sauce

 28 oz Canned, Crushed Tomatoes
 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 4 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
 ½ tsp Kosher Salt
 ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
 2 tbsp Fresh, Chopped Basil

In a medium sauce pan, heat the olive oil on medium low heat, then add garlic to sauté until fragrant, about 3-4 minutes. Stir constantly.

Add the tomatoes, seasoning and salt and stir.

Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the fresh basil. Simmer for another 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently.

You should have enough for 2 large pizzas and a little more for dipping. Store leftover sauce in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
